I haven't been in much of a blogging mood.  No reason really, just not much to say :).  I love reading all my subscriptions and keeping up with everyone's life.  I am enjoying being temporarily unemployed.  I was laid off again...3rd time since 2008.  To be fair, though, I was offered a position as a salesperson in the manufacturing company I was working at as the Receptionist/Admin Assistant.  I choose not to take it and ended up at a law firm.  I hadn't done legal work in ages, and it was difficult for me to be under so much stress again.  The workplace was not fun.  All the other "girls" were related and they were in a "clic".  I just didn't exist.  I worked very hard, but as I didn't go along with the "girls", eating lunch with them, etc, (even though they didn't say 2 words to me), I was let go before my 90 days probation.  I am blessed to be able to collect unemployment and with my husband's job, we are doing fine.  I am looking, however, and have been on 3 interviews.  I am keeping busy, keeping home and cooking. 

God has been and continues to be so good to us and for that I am blessed.

Please pray for Barbara Mahoney, a friend.  A few weeks ago she wasn't feeling well and went to the doctor.  After numerous tests, they found a tumor on her pancreas.  She was operated on yesterday.  The doctor told her husband, Bob, they couldn't remove the tumor and closed her up.  The doctor told Bob to pray for a miracle, as she most likely will not leave the hospital.  I ask for your prayers for Barbara, Bob, her daughter and granddaughter.  Thank you and God Bless!
